I’ve always been drawn to understanding how things work.
Whether it’s a public service, a city, a business process, or the people behind the numbers, I’m fascinated by the patterns that connect them. To me, data is more than information, it’s a way of asking thoughtful questions, uncovering meaningful insights, and helping people make better decisions.
My path into analytics wasn’t a straight line. I began my career in accounting and financial services, where I developed a strong appreciation for structure, precision and the systems that keep organisations running. Over time, I realised I was becoming more interested in the questions behind the reports than the reports themselves.
That curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s in IT in Business (Analytics), where I discovered a love for combining data, design and storytelling. Since then, I’ve worked across banking and the public sector, exploring projects in tourism, education, business systems and geospatial analytics. Each experience has strengthened my belief that good analysis isn’t just technically sound—it should also be clear, accessible and meaningful.
I enjoy creating work that balances rigour with simplicity. Whether it’s building a dashboard, developing a predictive model or designing a report, my goal is always the same: to make complexity easier to understand.
Away from my desk, I enjoy slowing down and creating in different ways. You’ll often find me working on a craft project, heading out for a morning run, exploring Singapore by bicycle or volunteering within the community. These moments keep me curious, grounded and remind me that every dataset ultimately represents people, places and stories.
